November 27, 2019
"Princes in the Wilderness" by Patricia Watson.
Patricia Watson will be joining us on November 27th at 7pm to discuss her 2015 novel based in part on the history of her own family. Patricia, whose roots are in southern Simcoe county, tells the story of Thomas Dale and his family as they leave their native England to settle in to southern Ontario. It is a story which happened almost outside our door, which includes elements of courage, faith, relationship with the First Nations and the politics of the young colony. An excellent read and promises to be as always great discussion. Everyone welcome.
